The expectation for the final of the World Cup 2026 between Argentina and Spain provoked an immediate response among Argentine fans. However, the speed with which tickets sold out led the company to make a new decision. On Friday it announced the addition of a third special flight departing from Ezeiza on Saturday night.

In a statement, the airline explained that the new service will be available “for all those who want to travel to cheer on the Argentine team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.”

The company also reported that the outbound leg will have a fare from $2,200 dollars, more taxes.

According to Aerolíneas Argentinas, the measure responds to the behavior of the market in recent hours. “The decision was made after the two previously announced special flights were completed in less than 12 hours, reflecting the strong demand of passengers to accompany the national team in the decisive stage of the tournament,” the company said.

The new flight seeks to offer a last alternative for fans who are still trying to reach the United States before the duel between Argentina and Spain, a match that will define the 2026 World Cup champion and that has generated a massive mobilization of Argentine followers heading to North America.
