The catalog of Latin series continues to grow on the main streaming platforms, and June 2026 arrives with proposals that range from historical drama to traditional thrillers. This weekend, two titles are emerging as the big bets for those looking for quality content in the language: “México 86” from Netflix and “Circo Gómez”, available on ViX.

The official synopsis recorded the plot as a story of “passion, madness and pure Mexican ingenuity”, where the political, social and sporting background that made that event possible is explored.
Beyond football, the series promises to delve into the complexities of a country that, against all odds, organized one of the most remembered tournaments in history.

“Circo Gómez”, created by Eugenio Derbez, It is part of the ViX catalog and adds to the growing offering of Latin American custom content on the platform. It also features the voices of Omar Chaparro and Vanessa Bauche.
With a title that evokes the circus universe and the most common Spanish-speaking surname, the series aims to be an exploration of family dynamics from a perspective that mixes drama and humor.
The series premiered on June 5 and follows the misadventures of a dysfunctional family that owns a traveling circus on the brink of bankruptcy. The patriarch, an egocentric and incompetent artist, and his chaotic group will do everything possible to keep their show alive.
Disney+’s commitment to Latin content
Disney+ is intensifying its commitment to production in Spanish and Portuguese. The platform closed strategic agreements with key production companies, such as the one announced with the Brazilian Seriella, which includes an extensive package of premieres and series that will be broadcast simultaneously on open television and streaming, strengthening the presence of national products on a global platform.
