The actress Anne Hathaway, 43, surprised the world by announcing her third pregnancy with her husband Adam Shulman. However, behind the emotional confirmation video on Instagram hid a fashion feat: the interpreter completed the entire intense promotional tour for the long-awaited sequel “The Satan Wears Prada 2” carrying his secret in full view of the public and the international press.
According to reports from Page Six, The hype began at the end of March and continued through May. Sources close to the production described Hathaway’s work ethic as “incredible,” comparing her efforts to those of a “superhero.”
The actress’s stylist, Erin Walsh, meticulously designed a wardrobe full of optical illusions, dense textures, oversized garments and sartorial tricks that completely misled exclusive hunters in metropolises such as Mexico City, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai and New York.
The wardrobe strategy was based on diverting attention from the midsection using specific cuts and asymmetrical elements. The use of rigid fabrics and loose silhouettes on the red carpets allowed the actress’s silhouette to remain undetectable in the flashes.thus managing to navigate events such as the Met Gala and the Louis Vuitton Cruise catwalk, without raising suspicions.
Finally, after weeks of speculation and after being caught on vacation in Saint-Tropez, Hathaway decided to break the silence with a subtle video on social networks to the rhythm of the classic song “Child I’m Yours”, where she moved her arms away to show her pregnant belly.
