The young talent of the Tijuana Xolos and of the Mexico teamGilberto Mora, signed an important contract renewal with the border squad, in which a clause was established that will allow him to accept any offer from European football that suits both parties.
The news was announced by the canine team a few hours before the Tricolor’s World Cup debut, where the 17-year-old boy is one of the 26 called up for the World Cup, where it is expected that may have important moments to draw the attention of the teams from the Old Continent.
Through a statement, the border team reported that it reached an agreement for a historic three-year contract with what it considers to be the most relevant player in the club’s history. who will also change his number, as he will now wear the ’10’.

In the contract that Mora renewed, a clause is established that contemplates a possible departure of Gilberto Mora to European football, especially since speculation has been going on for some months. about that possibility through her representative, the Brazilian Rafaela Pimenta.
“The agreement includes a highly personalized and clearly structured exit mechanismdeveloped jointly between the club, the player and his representative. “The structure reflects a shared vision for Gilberto’s future and recognizes both his extraordinary potential and his preparation to compete at the highest level of world football,” he highlighted.
Regarding the renewal of his contract with Xolos, Mora was very grateful to the club and motivated after his renewal. “I am very grateful to Club Tijuana. This club has helped me a lot to grow as a player and as a person. This motivates me even more to continue working hard and improving every day. Right now my focus is on helping the team and giving everything for Mexico in this World Cup,” said the footballer.
