Federal and state authorities arrested in Hermosillo Hugo “N”alias “The 01”identified as a priority target and operator of a legal cell with a presence in Sonora and Chihuahua, related to the group of The Salazarsan organization linked to the faction of Los Chapitos of the Sinaloa Cartel.
The capture was carried out through an intelligence operation in a restaurant located in Sonora. According to the authorities, the operation took place without confrontations or effects on the civilian population.
At the time of his arrest, the subject was carrying a firearm for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.
Investigations indicate that this law would be related to high-impact criminal activities and with the use of drones to carry out attacks against rival groups, authorities and even the civilian population.
As a result of intelligence and investigation work, elements of the Security Cabinet, in coordination with @gobiernosonora authorities, detained Hugo “N”, alias “El 01”, identified as a generator of violence with a presence in Sonora and Chihuahua.

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office of Justice of the State of Sonora considers him a priority objective due to his alleged participation in violent events recorded in the Sonora-Chihuahua region.
His arrest occurs in a context of growing concern about the use of modified drones by criminal organizations in Mexico.
In recent years, various security corporations have documented attacks carried out with unmanned aircraft equipped with explosivesa modality that has increased the operational capacity of criminal groups in different regions of the country.
After his capture, Hugo “N” was placed at the disposal of the corresponding authorities, who will continue with the investigations to determine his alleged responsibility in various violent acts attributed to the legal organization to which he is linked.
