The film scene is in mourning after the tragic death of actor James To hand was announced.known for his participation in productions such as “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Jumanji.” Official reports listed stab wounds to the chest as the cause of death.

Media such as CNN and the BBC report that The 81-year-old actor was found unconscious in the front yard of his home in Tarzana, California, with several girls.stab wounds to the chest.

The Los Angeles police went to said residence after receiving a 911 call in which an individual confessed to having committed a murder: “I am the son of man; I have just killed the man of sin,” are the words that received the emergency service.

Hours later, the Los Angeles Police Department issued a statement confirming that Michael Gledhill, son of James Tohand’s partner, is detained on suspicion of murder.

The 44-year-old suspect is in police custody at the Van Nuys Jail and has been booked on a murder charge. A bail of $2 million dollars was set, but until now the process for its payment has not begun.

As a result of the commotion generated by the news, the authorities dispelled public concern by ensuring that no citizen is in danger after his arrest. “The suspect lives at the home with his mother, who is the victim’s girlfriend (…) Detectives consider that this is an isolated incident and there does not appear to be any danger to the population”the writing highlighted.

Hollywood says goodbye to actor James To hand

It wasn’t long before dozens of colleagues in the artistic world joined in to send their condolences to the actor’s family. One of them was writer and producer Don Winslow, creator of the 2001 crime series “UC: Undercover,” in which To Hand participated.

In his farewell letter, he described him as an extraordinary actor and full of professionalism: “It was an honor to have him on UC: Undercover in a recurring role (…) His performances were always special,” he noted.

Entertainment journalist Jay Bobbin also joined this wave of affection: “I am heartbroken to learn of the death of a magnificent character actor,” he lamented.

At 81 years of age, actor James To hand managed to consolidate a broad portfolio of projects, among which the following stand out: “NYPD Blue”, “K-9”, “Regulation & Show”, “CSI: NY”, “Logan”, “Alias”, “Fortress”, “NCIS”, “The West Cruise”, “Arachnophobia”, “The X-Files” and “Raze”, “She Wrote”, to name a few.
