The actress Maribel Guardia surprised the public by revealing the adjustment she made to her will in the face of the court decision that removed her as legal guardian of her grandson José Julián Figueroawhom he had planned to name his universal heir.
According to an interview given to the Mexican press, his intention to make him universal heir has changed. “I will make some provisions, I no longer plan to leave him all my assets, but a good part; there was a part that I considered leaving, but not now”he sentenced.
Likewise, he indicated that the assets he plans to leave to his grandson will be granted to him at an established age together with his lawyers: “I already have some things in the child’s name. Of course, it will be given to him when he is 30 years old, so that he is already an adult and makes his own decisions.“, he pointed out.
Regarding the questions about her position regarding the judge’s decision to grant guardianship of the minor José Julián Figueroa to Addis Tuñón, Maribel Guardia said she was disappointed and warned that the journalist’s profession represents a conflict of interest.
“This person is not going to defend the child, he is going to defend the mother. I never saw her around my house in the eight years that the child lived with me, she never went to see him”he added.
Contrary to what the communicator said, the Costa Rican assured that if the legal process had not been prolonged by challenging the inheritance, José Julián would have already been granted what belongs to him by law: “The child would now have the inheritance. I would already have it“he continued.
In this sense, he expressed that the only one affected in the long term will be the 9-year-old: “I leave it in the hands of God, may God be with my child. What happened to the child hurts me a lot, but after what happened to my son, my heart already knows about pain”he finished.
Maribel Guardia’s statements come just a few days after the verdict was made public in which a judge relieved the singer of her role as guardian. In her own voice, journalist Addis Tuñón, Imelda’s aunt, reported being the little one’s new guardian.
“Today I was summoned to accept this position, it is a responsibility and I accepted it. With all the love I have for the minor and with all the closeness we have”said the communicator.
During the broadcast of “De Primera Mano”, Addis indicated that she had already exercised her first power as guardian of José Julián by formally requesting the removal of Marco Chacón as the minor’s executor. The petition has been issued under the accusation that he has not been responsible for the child’s support for three years.
