The rapper drake celebrates his return to the music scene with the achievement of a new record: He dethroned Michael Jackson and became the male solo artist with the most number 1 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.This was confirmed by the music magazine.

According to a statement, The debut of his single “Janice STFU” in the first position of the list represents the Canadian’s fourteenth number 1which translates into a new record set by the King of Pop between 1972 and 1995, with 13 songs in the top.

Nevertheless, Drake remains on par with stars like Rihanna and Taylor Swift for number one hits among all artists. Above this figure are Mariah Carey and the group The Beatles with 19 and 20 songs at the top, respectively.

As if that were not enough, the “Family Issues” singer broke another historical record by placing 42 songs in a single week on the Hot 100, surpassing national music singer and songwriter Morgan Wallen, who last month set a mark of 37 songs.

In this sense, Drake also became the first artist to surpass 400 accumulated entries on the Billboard Hot 100 throughout his career.

According to the platform, to appear on the “Hot 100” list, Billboard brings together figures related to streaming views, radio, digital downloads and, in some cases, physical sales in the United States.

Drake launches surprises the public with the release of three albums

After two years of absence from the music scene, the rapper marked his great return with three surprise albums: “Iceman”, “Maid of Honor” and “Habititi”completing a proposal of 43 songs that swept digital platforms.

In addition to the commotion generated by the premiere of his album material, attention turned to the famous man for the emotional confession he made in the song “Operate Them Announce.” And in his verses he reveals that his father, Dennis Graham, was recently diagnosed with an unspecified type of cancer.
