The Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin He made it clear that no act of violence will tarnish his connection with the public. A few days after the incident that occurred during his presentation at Montenegrowhere an unknown person threw tear gas, He sent a message of thanks and promised that he will return to the European country.
Through his Instagram stories, the interpreter of “La mordidita” shared an emotional text in Spanish, English and Montenegrin. “Montenegro, I’m only going to focus on the incredible energy I felt coming from you. A warm audience full of love,” said the singer, minimizing the event that fortunately left no one injured.
“A lot of love always… and I will return,” added the Puerto Rican artist.
The attack took place within the framework of start of the European leg of his “Ricky Martin Dwell” tourcoinciding with the country’s independence celebrations.
In the middle of the show, The tear gas fired near the stage caused the first rows to disperse. and irritation to the eyes and respiratory tract of some musicians and attendees.
Although his work team and his publicist, Róndine Alcalá, advised him to permanently suspend the concert for safety reasons, The artist decided to return to the stage once the local authorities controlled the situation.
The singer’s press office confirmed that the international tour will continue as planned, demonstrating Ricky Martin’s commitment to music and his loyal fans.
