Weeks after releasing his twelfth studio album, the rapper Chris Brown has added an award that few expected. The artist received an honorary doctorate in Visual and Performing Arts from Harvest Christian College.a private institution in Dallas, Texas, of a religious nature.
Through his official Instagram account, The singer of “It Is Dependent” and “Actual” announced the news with a smile and a strong message of pride: “I DID A THING! (I did something!)”wrote.
For this, Brown posted a couple of photographs that immortalized the most special moments of the ceremony, including the donning of his cap and gown, as well as the delivery of the diploma. that accredits this honor.
This is not the first time that Harvest Christian College has awarded an Honorary Doctorate to music stars. In accordance with its history, the educational institution seeks to reward social impact over traditional academic merits.
