These are the facts, according to international reports from agencies such as AP. British authorities have confirmed that the National Crime Agency recognized Jakub Jan Konkel, 40, as the driver transporting 28 pallets of clothing. “Skims”, Kim Kardashian’s renowned intimate clothing brand, from Holland. Konhel was detained by border officials at an Essex port in September.

In information from said agency, it is highlighted that the detainee provided statements that further clarified the facts, where he admitted his guilt. Jakub Jan Konkel admitted to stopping during his delivery trip to pick up 90 kilograms (198 pounds) of cocaine.

For the crime, Konhel was sentenced to 13 and a half years in prison. It was also revealed that for this work the person involved was receiving a payment of $5,243 dollars.

In addition, he specified that the truck itself had been specially adapted so that it could hide the drugs. The substances were wrapped in 1 kilogram (2.2 pound) packages in a compartment in the rear doors of the truck.

Regarding the Skims shipment, it is currently known that both the exporter and the importer were not involved in this process. And that the cargo of Kim Kardashian’s well-known brand is legitimate and is valued at $9.4 million dollars.
