Recently, the American retail chain Target announced that this year plans to invest about $5,000 million dollars to remodel at least 100 stores throughout the country.
In this regard, Michael Fiddelke, CEO of Target, indicated that “This new chapter of growth at Target is made clear by clear decisions and is based on a deeper understanding of our unique niche in retail.for the clients we serve and the areas in which we are clearly positioned to succeed,” he said.
According to the company, this remodeling seeks to create more pleasant and personalized experiences for its customers with the incorporation of technological systems and training of its internal most.
The stores will have updated floor plans and sections; The retailer’s customers will not only be able to have displays on home decoration, a greater variety of food and beverage products, but they will also be able to enjoy more than 60 beauty brands with the “Target Magnificence Studio”.
“This work is already underway, and by putting style, design and value at the center of every decision, we are implementing big changes to lead with an assortment on the cutting edge of trends, improve the customer experience, accelerate technology adoption and empower our teams to deliver the most rewarding experience in retail, both today and for the long term,” said Fiddelke in the statement.
Likewise, the chain reported that the renovations will include a dozen Target stores in Texas, including:
- Central and West Texas: Temple, McAllen Northwest and El Paso Central.
- DFW/North Texas: Vista Ridge, Garland East and Eastchase.
- Greater Houston: Westchase, Willowbrook and Galveston.
- San Antonio/South Texas: SW Military Force, SE San Antonio and San Marcos.
