Iran warned the United States not to make a “miscalculation” againby ensuring that its Armed Forces have “their finger on the trigger” to respond “quickly, firmly and powerfully” to any new aggression, after Donald Trump postponed an imminent attack against the Persian country.
“We warn the United States and its allies not to make a strategic or calculation error again.“, warned the commander of the Fashioned Jatam al Anbiya Central Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, in a statement collected by the Tasnim agency, linked to the Revolutionary Guard.
The senior military official maintained that the Islamic Republic and its Armed Forces are in a position of greater military preparation compared to the past.
His statements came after the president of the United States, Donald Trump stated on Monday that he had postponed for “a brief period of time” an attack on Iran scheduled for this Tuesday, in order to give room for negotiations, after its Arab allies asked it to delay it “two or three days.”

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bagaei said on Monday that peace negotiations with the United States continue by exchanging proposals through Pakistan.and that Tehran had delivered its response to Washington’s latest considerations.
Negotiations between Washington and Tehran to end the war started on February 28 by the United States and Israel have not advanced since their beginning, on April 11 in Islamabad, due to differences especially around the Iranian nuclear program and the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.
