He Atlantean returns to the highest division of Mexican soccer after 12 years of absence. The “Iron Colts” would like to return in style to Liga MX. Atlante will have Miguel Herrera on the bench. On their return to the first division they would like to reinforce their defense with the Brazilian Lucas Fasson.
The report was exposed by the Brazilian portal RTI Esporte. According to the South American media, Atlante representatives contacted the agent of the player who plays for Lokomotiv Moscow.
“The detail is that Atlante, from Mexico, contacted the player’s representative in the country to find out his financial and contractual situation. After 12 years, the club will compete in Liga MX and is working to form a competitive team,” explains the Brazilian portal.
However, the report details that the Atlantean would not be the only club interested in the services of Lucas Fasson. Botafogo would also try to acquire the 25-year-old defender.
“Botafogo is interested in defender Lucas Fasson. The club is in talks with the player to replace Alexander Barboza, who will join Palmeiras from July 20“adds the report.

RTI Esporte points out that Atlante would have stipulated offer a formal proposal in the coming weeks. The Mexican team hopes to close an agreement with Fasson for two seasons. However, the Amazonian defender would like to return to Brazil.

The 24-year-old striker is valued at just over $4.5 million dollars. However, the signing of the Brazilian would not represent any financial effort. Fasson ends his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow in June this year.
