A man was sentenced this Wednesday to two years in federal prison for his participation in the drug distribution network for which actor Matthew Perry, star of the television series “Friends,” died in Los Angeles in October 2023.

Erik Fleming, 55-year-old Hawthorne residentreceived a sentence of 24 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised probation.

In August 2024, Fleming pleaded guilty on charges of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and distribution of ketamine resulting in death.

Fleming admitted that facilitated the transfer of anesthetic provided by Jasveen Sanghaknown as the “Queen of Ketamine”, to Perry’s personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa.

In April 2026, Jasveen Sangha heard a sentence of 15 years in prison.

On May 27 of this year, Kenneth Iwamasa has a hearing scheduled in which he will hear his sentence for this case. He faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in federal prison.
