Kylie Jenner, 28, surprised the world in 2018 when she welcomed her daughter Stormi after a pregnancy that she kept completely secret. However, what few knew was the fear that the young businesswoman felt even before sharing the news with his own parents.
The co-founder of Kylie Cosmetics was a guest on the “Therapuss” podcast, hosted by Jake Shane, where she opened her heart about that stage of her life.
“I was 19 when I got pregnant. I was very scared. Yes, I was very scared. I was very afraid to tell my parents”
Despite the fear, the star of the Kardashian-Jenner clan also stated that she wanted to continue with her pregnancy: “There was something inside me that knew I wanted to do it, and I had to make a decision for myself. What do I really want? What can I bear?” And even if I have to do it alone, or whatever, this is the decision I’m going to make.“, he said.
How did you tell your parents?
Jenner said she found the courage to talk to her mothers, Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner, despite her fear.
“I told my mother. Nobody was angry with me. It was a crazy time”he assured. The reality star is also a mother Aire, who was born in 2022, also the result of her relationship with rapper Travis Scott.
In another part of the conversation, Kylie delved into the reasons that led her to hide her first pregnancy and expressed that he was afraid of outside opinions.
“I practically didn’t leave the house. I felt like at that moment, remembering it, I was protecting myself. And in a way, that’s how it was“he explained.
Furthermore, she added that, after making her pregnancy public, “I cried inconsolably for three hours because I felt an enormous burden on my shoulders.”
The content creator confessed that the weight of keeping such a big secret generated appreciable anxiety. “Generation said something very important that it was hiding from the world. And I was worried about everyone’s reactions. It was very emotional. And I thought, ‘Maybe next time I won’t do it,’” he concluded.
