Half of California is under abnormal drought conditionsaccording to the report published this Thursday, May 14, by the United States Drought Show screen.
According to data collected this Tuesday, May 12, Specialists considered that conditions continue to spread throughout Californiauntil registering some areas with a moderate drought level, in the north and southeast of the state.
The map published in the report shows that Northern and central California counties are classified as “abnormally dry” or in “moderate drought.”which represent the first two levels of the drought scale.

No areas are registered in Los Angeles, Orange and Santa Barbara counties. considered within drought levels, although the same does not happen in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, where some areas can already be found under “abnormal dryness.”
