Ernesto LaguardiaMexican actor and host, continues looking for projects that allow him to remain relevant to the public that saw him rise as one of the biggest stars in his country. For this reason, He does not rule out the idea of venturing into new television formats such as “La Casa de los Famosos México”, as he confessed in a recent interview..
Always willing to share details about his professional life, The protagonist of “Amores con Trampa” confessed that on previous occasions he has been approached by TelevisaUnivision to be part of the well-known reality show. However, his work commitments have prevented him from taking the step.
“They proposed it to me several years ago. So yes, we have thought about it. It seems like a very interesting project to me in many ways. It is like a small society where everyone is studying with a magnifying glass, but at the same time it is so different from the society outside,” he indicated to the Televisa Espectáculos microphones.
Despite questions about his next participation in the 2026 edition of the program, Ernesto Laguardia preferred to remain discreet with his statements.
“It’s something very interesting. This ‘Mountainous brother’ project was a worldwide phenomenon, and LCDLFM has been a great phenomenon too. So… I don’t know, let’s see”he advanced.
For its part, the producer of “La Casa de los Famosos México” has preferred to keep the names of the inhabitants who will enter the new edition of the acclaimed program as a surprise. What was announced was the return of the drivers Galilea Montijo, Odalys Ramírez, Diego de Erice, Ricardo Margaleff and Wendy Guevara.
Is Ernesto Laguardia returning to the “Hoy” program?
Another of the topics that the actor addressed included the possibility of joining the cast of hosts of the morning show “Hoy”, the one he was part of in the early 2000s. In this regard, he said:
“For me it is a very important program. I love it, I adore it, I was there for many years. It is a wonderful project. I love getting up at 4 in the morning to survey all the newspapers, find out everything, arrive early, have breakfast there, have a lot of fun“, he expressed.
The famous man assured that he not only treasures his professional growth, but also the gifts that life gave him at a non-public level: “‘Today’ is part of my life. I had my children there, I met my wife. So, it is very important to me. One day I could return. I would love to, really. Sometimes there have been approaches”he added during his interview.
Laguardia ended by expressing his excitement about a possible return to this Televisa production: “It is not ruled out because the morning ladies are incredible and now the gentlemen too, in the office. So it is a very complete program and I would love to return, yes,” he reiterated.
