Karen Bass remains on track to be re-elected as mayor of Los Angeles after establishing itself in preferences three weeks before the primaries, according to the Internal California Politics/Emerson Faculty survey published this Wednesday, May 13.
According to the poll, the right mayor maintains her advantage over her two main contenders. former reality star Spencer Pratt and Councilwoman Nithya Raman.
According to the survey, Bass is ahead in the race to be re-elected, with 30%followed by Pratt, with 22%, and Raman, with 19% support.

Among the other candidates for mayor of Los Angeles, businessman Adam Miller received 7% of the preferences, ahead of housing advocate Rae Huang, who obtained 4%. 16% of respondents remain undecided.
Both Bass, Pratt and Raman recorded significant progress compared to the Emerson Faculty survey in March, in which the right mayor received 20% support, Pratt 10% and Raman 9%.

Although Karen Bass has not expanded her lead over Pratt or Raman since the March poll, The percentage of undecided voters did register a significant decrease, going from 51% to only 16%when there are just under three weeks left until the primaries.
Emerson Faculty released the survey a week after Bass, Pratt and Raman participated in a debate in which All three Los Angeles mayoral candidates clashed over homelessness, wildfires and immigration.

The primaries will take place on June 2, and A candidate must obtain more than 50% of the votes to achieve victory and avoid a second round.
In the event that none of the contenders reaches 50%, The two candidates who receive the highest number of votes will advance to the November general electionwhich will define the next mayor of Los Angeles.
