Due to a bomb threat The Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park was closed this Monday morningprompting a search and investigation by police forces.
The bomb threat was received around 7:45 a.m.about three hours before the theme park’s scheduled opening time, at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway.
They came to the place deputies of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) and California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.

By 12:00 pm, the Six Flags Magic Mountain facilities, in the Valencia area, they remained closed.
An LASD spokesperson said the investigation was nearing completion, Therefore, it was expected that the alert would be ended soon.and that they would be responsible for the theme park if this Monday it would serve the public.

In the amusement park area, it was observed the presence of a Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) truck and more than a dozen LASD vehicles, among which there was an armored vehicle that participated in the search operation for the alleged bomb.
“The park appreciates the prompt response of both police agencies and values the continued collaboration and commitment to keeping our community and guests safe,” a Six Flags Magic Mountain spokesperson stated in a statement.

The theme park spokesperson mentioned that The doors were expected to open to the public starting at 12:30 p.m.after the officers’ work was completed.
