Again, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman sharply rebuked fellow Democrats for focusing on dissing President Donald Trump’s policies. instead of developing proposals that help them recover the citizen vote.
During his participation in the television program “Accurate Time with Invoice Maher,” the controversial legislator whom several Democrats consider a closet Republican, defined the strategy orchestrated by his party by resorting to anti-Trump messages as excessive.
“My colleagues and the people who are running, whether for the Senate or the House of Representatives, are literally running on the promise of ‘fuck Trump.’ They have campaign ads (with that message). It’s absurd…”, he expressed.
Fetterman is clear that, to once again aspire to occupy the presidency, to exercise the set watch over of the Senate and to position itself as the majority in the House of Representatives, the order of the Democratic Party should be to offer proposed solutions to the problems of citizens, which must initially be made known before the midterm elections are held.
“We must find a better way forward,” he emphasized.
Despite being rejected by several important members of his party, the senator who usually attends work meetings wearing shorts and sweatshirts He flatly ruled out the idea of jumping to the conservative side.
“I thought we were an inclusive party, so I don’t understand how I became a problem for any of the Democrats, simply by having different opinions.
I am a convinced Democrat… I vote 93% of the time (with Democrats). So, if I ever decide to change, which I won’t, invite me to the show and I’ll announce it,” he said with a smile.
The truth is that the relationship between John Fetterman and Donald Trump seems to work better with respect to proximity to the Democrats and it seems difficult that the situation could be reversed at least before the midterm elections are held.
