What was undoubtedly the unmissable cultural event of 2025 is about to conquer the big screen. The long-awaited reunion tour of Oasis, titled “Oasis Reside ’25,” will arrive in documentary format.

Acquired by Disney, the film, still without a definitive title, according to Kind, is a production of Magna Studios and Sony Tune Vision. Its limited release in IMAX theaters and other cinemas is scheduled for September 11, before arriving exclusively on Disney+ internationally before the end of the year.

The team behind

The documentary is written by Steven Knight, the creator of “Peaky Blinders.” and valid screenwriter of the “James Bond” franchise. The direction is by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, known for their work on “Shut Up and Play the Hits” and “Meet Me in the Toilet.”

The film not only documents the band’s triumphant return to the stage, also offers unprecedented access: rehearsals, backstage, the stage and, for the first time in over 25 years, joint interviews with Noel and Liam Gallagher.

According to the official synopsis, The documentary is portrayed as “an inspiring and unapologetic story.” of the biggest music event of 2025, capturing both the band’s experience and the emotions of their fans around the world. The tour, considered one of the most anticipated rock comebacks in history, was sold out.

“I really want the world to see this movie,” Knight said, as quoted by Kind.

“I think it captures the spirit and emotion of a world cultural moment and does justice to the ingenuity and genius of two exceptional people. I wanted to tell the story of the brothers and the band, but just as important, the story of the fans whose lives the music has touched and sometimes changed forever. It is also the story of how music and composition can unite generations, cultures and countries, and, in times of resentment and division, give us all a reason for hope,” he mentioned.

The project has a stellar creative team. The producers are Sam Bridger, Lewis Capald and Guy Heeley. Executive produced by Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Isabel Davis and Tim O’Shea.

Sound will be provided by Oscar winner James Mathery Tarn Willers, while photography is the responsibility of Haris Zambarloukos.
