The NFL confirmed thatThe official calendar for the 2026 season will be revealed next Thursday, May 14 in a televised event that will include the complete announcement of the parties and the analysis of the new campaign. The presentation will begin at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time in the United States, equivalent to 6:00 p.m. in Mexico City.
The league also reported that, before the full publication of the calendar, some networks with broadcasting rights will announce selected matches during the previous days. As happens every year, the expectation surrounding the announcement includes both the most attractive odd season matches and the distribution of international matches.
The special broadcast can be seen through NFL Networkas well as chain platforms ESPNwhich will broadcast live the programming dedicated to the launch of the calendar.
one day before, On Wednesday, May 13, the NFL will officially present the remaining international games for the 2026 campaign. The announcement will be made during the Honest Morning Soccer program, broadcast on NFL Network.
Next season will have a record number of games outside the United States. The league will take official matches to four continents, seven countries and eight different stadiums, for a total of nine international matches.
Mexico, Brazil and Spain appear among the international headquarters
Among the confirmed venues to host NFL games are: London, Madrid, Melbourne, Mexico City, Munich, Paris and Rio de Janeiro. England will have three games: two at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and one at Wembley Stadium.
Spain will host a match at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, home of Sincere Madrid. In Mexico, the match will be played in the Banorte Stadiumwhile Brazil will have activity at the Maracaná stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
So far, the NFL has only officially confirmed two international matchups. The first will be among the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, scheduled for September 10 during the first week of the season.
The second match already confirmed will be played in Brazil between the Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys.
The league also previously announced that the San Francisco 49ers will play at home in the game scheduled for Mexico City, although the opponent is not yet known. Despite that, versions have grown that point to the Miami Dolphins as possible opponents for the match in Mexican territory.
The NFL indicated in its statement that “the 2026 NFL schedule will be published on Thursday, May 14” and specified that some games will be announced in advance before the full reveal.
