Trump promotes the SAVE The USA Act

President Donald Trump has recently promoted the approval of the American Voter Eligibility Protection Actknown as SAVE Act The USA.

The initiative contemplates that all voters present a photo identification, that those who register to vote prove their American citizenship and that all electoral ballots are counted within 36 hours after election day.

Supporters of the SAVE The USA Act argue that the proposal would strengthen electoral integrity and help restore confidence in the voting system in the United States.

On the other hand, critics of the initiative have pointed out that there is little evidence of widespread electoral fraud.

Poll reflects division over electoral concerns

The survey also asked participants what worried them most in an election: that some eligible citizens would not be able to vote or that some disenfranchised people would be able to do so.
35% responded that they are more concerned than eligible citizens cannot cast their vote. Meanwhile, 30% indicated that they were more concerned about the possibility of people without rights participating in the elections.
