NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises presented the programming they will have available for the remainder of the year 2026 and what we can expect for the year 2027.
Its 2026–2027 Upfront highlights a strong multi-platform portfolio, led by the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the world’s largest sporting event. With more than 70% of its programming broadcast live.
“We are entering one of the most important moments in the history of our company, driven by the FIFA World Cup and a content portfolio that reflects the magnitude and influence of the Latin audience,” said Luis Fernández, CEO of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.
Two important productions are also confirmed that will set the network’s programming on fire at the soap opera level. We talk about: “The Queen of the South 4” and “The Lord of the Skies 10”.
Taking into account all the entertainment content that the network promotes, it is not surprising that Fernández adds: “We are not only offering content and capturing audiences, we are building fandoms, creating cultural moments and connecting audiences on all platforms.”
He continues: “From live sports and breaking news to top-class entertainment and new storytelling formats, our strategy is focused on driving growth, deepening connection and delivering unmatched value for our audiences and partners.”
The House of Famous People will continue to give something to talk about in 2027
That said, we can confirm that by 2027 “La Casa de los Famosos” will return to Telemundo screens with a new season.
In the Upfront they explain that “La Casa de los Famosos” is a multiplatform phenomenonwhich returns with a new cast of audience-favorite celebrities who will live in complete isolation from the outside world.
The series offers an unfiltered, 24/7 experience across multiple platforms, including its wildly popular continuous livestream, powered by more than 100 cameras capturing every moment.
