“Cristiano was not born a star like Messi or Ronaldinho. He went cracking. He looked for alternatives. The cases of Messi, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Maradona… They already know where the ball is going to go. But Cristiano today is what he is and he is going to go to a World Cup at 40, 41 years old, because of his insistence, his will and dedication.“, declared the Brazilian strategist.
Cristiano Ronaldo had a great connection with Luiz Felipe Scolari. The Brazilian strategist was the one who made CR7 debut in the Portugal team. Scolari directed the European team for nearly 5 years and gave CR7 his first opportunity in August 2003.
