The first increases to the state minimum wage began this year on January 1 with an adjustment of $16.90 per hour. Nevertheless, The purpose of the SB 525 law is that gradual increases, especially for the health sector, reach $25 per hour.

In this case, Eligible employees must work in hospitals and health centers covered by the law; In addition, salary rates will also depend on the type of employer and the size of the care center.
