Young man from Los Angeles faces challenges after delays in DACA renewal

A young man from Los Angeles, beneficiary of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), has found it necessary to sell food on the streets to survive after your permit renewal process has been delayed.

After both brothers lost their respective jobs, César made the decision to go out to the streets to sell foodwith the support of his mother, to obtain income for the family.

Originally from Zacatecas, Mexico, César came to the United States at the age of four. The young Hispanic is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
