A Hispanic man wanted for attempted murder of a deputy of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) He was arrested early this Monday after barricading himself in for almost ten hourswith the rescue of a woman hostage, in Beverly Hills.
Osvaldo del Río was identified as allegedly responsible for running over a Los Angeles sheriff in a ride-sharing service vehicle, who remains in custody on $1 million bail for attempted murder.
Although the entrenchment began this Sunday afternoon, The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday.when LASD deputies contacted the suspect near 104th Avenue and Hawthorne Boulevard, on the borders of Inglewood and unincorporated Lennox.

“The bailiffs went to arrest the suspect, but a struggle occurred and the man finally escaped in his vehicle, running over an agent“Declared Officer Tracy Koerner, of the LASD, in an interview with the KTLA network.
At approximately 1:30 pm on Sunday, an automatic license plate reader in Beverly Hills notified the Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) about the location of the gray vehicle of the alleged person responsible for the accident.
When the police tried to arrest the Hispanic man, a brief chase ensuedwhich ended in an accident at the intersection of South Robertson Boulevard and Burton Formula.

Then, The suspect barricaded himself inside the vehicle.so the intervention of the LASD Special Operations Office was requested.
During much of the entrenchment incident, A woman, whose relationship with Del Río was not immediately clear, was held hostagebut managed to escape unharmed on Sunday night.
Despite the woman’s rescue, the Hispanic man remained barricaded inside the vehicle for another hour, until the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed at 12:20 am this Monday that the man had been arrested.

This Monday morning, Neither BHPD nor LASD had provided any further information regarding this incident.including what motivated the initial arrest attempt on Sunday morning, or about the possible previous relationship between Del Río and the woman who was held hostage.
The health condition of the hit sheriff was not immediately known, but the Los Angeles Times reported that He had not suffered serious injuries and did not require hospitalization..
