Olivia Rodrigo showed that her talent goes far beyond music. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter took on double duty on “Saturday Night time Reside”: for the first time, She was the host of the program and, at the same time, the musical guest of the night.

For his first musical performance of the evening, Rodrigo received a luxury performance by Debbie Harry, the iconic vocalist of Blondie. Then, Olivia performed her latest single, “Drop Uninteresting”. This was only the second time the artist sang the song live, but the first in which the performance was broadcast on television.

The song is part of her highly anticipated upcoming album, titled “You Seem Magnificent Unhappy for a Girl So in Love.”

A surprise called Connor Storrie

Later, the night held another surprise for the audience. Connor Storrie, who hosted the late-night sketch show in February, unexpectedly returned to the SNL stage to host Olivia’s second performance. It was then when the singer decided release a new song titled “Begged”, leaving followers excited for what is to come.

The appearance of Storrie is no coincidence. The actor is back in New York, and rumors already suggest that he will attend the 2026 Met Gala, which will be held this Monday, May 4.

Interestingly, her Heated Contention co-star Hudson Williams has also been spotted in town recently.

If there was anything that captured the audience’s attention as much as musicwas Olivia Rodrigo’s opening monologue.

With her characteristic sense of humor, the artist joked about the usual title of her next album (“You Seem Magnificent Unhappy For a Girl So In Love”), recalled with nostalgia her time on the Disney Channel series “Bizaardvark”, where she shared credits with Jake Paul, and parodied his own hit “Drivers License,” transforming it into a fun version of the difficulties of obtaining your official identification.
