Dan Bongino, former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced that he had found secret “Russiagate” files in bags that the federal agency planned to incinerate.

“Russiagate” was a series of investigations carried out between 2017 and 2019 into alleged collusion between Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Russian government in their attempt to influence the election.

In fact, the report by Robert Mueller, special counsel, confirmed Russian interference, but never managed to establish a direct criminal conspiracy with the New York magnate’s campaign.

However, during an intervention on the podcast “Dangle Out with Sean Hannity”, Dan Bongino revealed the discovery of several classified documents allegedly hidden inside bags ready to be incinerated, but that were intentionally left with the purpose of discovering not only what appears to be a setup, but also who participated in it.

I thought I knew about ‘Russiagate’, but it was 10 times worse. That was basically the secret of the Crossfire program. And the document was so confidential that we couldn’t even take it out of the office,” he said.

The former law enforcement officer even referred to the alleged existence of a specific document, which consisted of approximately 100 pages.

“I’m reading this document and I think: ‘I can’t believe this happened in the United States.’ Not only did it happen in the United States, but many people knew about it. It was enough to read it. “All this was a farce from the beginning,” he emphasized.

Bongino confessed to having been terrified to see the number and names of the people involved in trying to put an end to the political aspirations of the nation’s current president.

“I was never the same after that, because after investigating cross-checking what I read about how many people did this to President Trump, this Russia hoax, the collusion, the ‘Crossfire Typhoon’ shit, and that not a single person stopped them, I’m terrified,” he said.

Previously, Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence, blamed the Obama administration to promote a narrative focused on affecting Trump’s career towards the White House, since he was aware that only in this way could they stop him.

“They knew it would encourage this artificial narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, selling it to the American people as if it were true. It wasn’t,” he said in July of last year.
