Leaders of the Los Angeles immigrant community They expressed their support for the candidate for governor of California, Xavier Becerra, in the face of attacks by Tom Steyer.

“It is deeply irresponsible for Tom Steyer and other gubernatorial candidates recycle the same damaging and discredited arguments as Donald Trump used to attack the work of Xavier Becerra,” declared the president of the Coalition for Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), Angélica Salas.

In addition to Becerra and Steyer, in the race for California governor There are also Democrats Matt Mahan, Tony Thurmond, Katie Porter and Antonio Villaraigosaas well as Republicans Chad Bianco and Steve Hilton.
