The attendance of President Donald Trump and the presence of anti-war protesters captured attention during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, organized by the WHCA in Washington.

The gala event held since 1921, this year was surrounded by protests against the war that the United States is waging against Iran.

Near the Washington Hilton hotel, Some groups of protesters gathered in repudiation of the war conflict that has triggered an energy crisis affecting the economy worldwide.

Even, a couple of subjects managed to sneak to the place where a red carpet was set up through which the guests of honor paraded.

One of them has an image of Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense, superimposed on his face, with a sign in his hands demanding his arrest; while another shouted from the rooftops the reasons behind the request.

Despite protests against the government and its collaborators for having involved the country in the war, nothing prevented the WHCA event from going ahead.

The head of the nation and his wife Ivanka were added to the list of journalists, politicians and celebrities gathered at the venue.
