What should have been a “moment of happiness” for Madonna It has become a distressing search. Following her acclaimed surprise appearance alongside Sabrina Chippie at the second weekend of Coachella, the superstar revealed that her entire wardrobe—a set of priceless pieces from her private archive—was missing.
On the weekend, Madonna took the stage wearing the same corset, Gucci jacket and boots she wore at her festival debut almost two decades ago.during the know-how of “Confessions on a Dance Ground”. However, euphoria turned to disappointment when, at the end of the event, the pieces could not be located.
“This is not just clothes, it is part of my story,” shared the 65-year-old singer. through their Instagram stories. The lost loot includes the lavender corset, a jacket, a dress and other accessories from the same era that were also in the lot.
Negligence or theft?
Although there was initially speculation about a possible robbery, local authorities handle a more unintended hypothesis.
According to the Indio Police Department, Preliminary investigations suggest that two bags containing the items may have fallen from a golf cart. as staff transported them to a cargo bus around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Upon arriving at her resort, the artist’s team noticed the absence of the pieces. So far, there is no evidence that the bags were intentionally stolen.
Reward on the go
Desperate to recover the clothes, Madonna offered a reward (the amount of which has not been revealed) for anyone who returns the clothes safely.
“I hope and pray that some kind soul finds these items,” concluded the artist, who thanked her followers in advance for their support.
