The celebration of Earth Day comes at an excellent time for Metro Los Angeles, in the midst of its line expansion programs to transport more and more passengers so that they forget to use their private cars.

Metro provides free trips throughout its public transportation network, on trains, buses, Metro Bike and Micro, from 3:00 am this Wednesday, April 22 until 3:00 am Thursday.

Passengers will be able to access trains and buses without having to present your cards to pay for the trip on its different lines and routes.

To take advantage of free rides at Metro Bike Part, Users can enjoy free 30-minute rides. Select “1-Trip” at any kiosk, online or in the Metro Bike Part app and enter the code 042226, which can be used multiple times throughout the day.

To use the service, a credit or debit card is required. Trips longer than 30 minutes cost $1.75 for each additional half hour.. Electric bike fees are exempt.

Metro Micro transportation is also considered for free trips. The code for free transfers in this service is EARTHDAY26.
