As the declared war against Iran becomes more complicated and the economic situation becomes more delicate for millions of American households, Criticism from opponents of President Donald Trump is rising in tone and even figures who previously remained silent are now reproaching him for his closed-mindedness. to continue squandering billions of dollars instead of allocating them to promoting citizen support programs.
During his speech at the Democratic Party Legacy Dinner held in Detroit, Michigan, Andy Beshear, governor of Kentucky, blamed the New York magnate for endangering the lives of thousands of American soldiers deployed to the Middle East.
“He is fighting new wars and putting American lives at risk. Kentucky already lost two of our sons and daughters last week,” he said.

“The American people and the entire world had to wait an entire day to see if a president would commit war crimes that would kill thousands of people.
It threatened to wipe out a civilization; Friends, that’s not just un-American. It’s truly crazy. And do you know how he finished it off? “He attacked the pope and then created an AI-generated image of him as Jesus Christ,” he recalled.
Later, during an interview with Michigan Memoirthe oldest and most respected African-American newspaper in that state, Andy Beshear referred to the need to limit Trump’s power by getting more seats in Congress during the midterm elections to be held in November, where the weight of black voters is a great contribution.
“I think black voters will be absolutely crucial in 2026 and 2028. That means the Democratic Party cannot take them for granted,” he emphasized.
