The singer Sabrina Carpenter closed its second presentation at the 2026 Coachella Festival with a flourish by having the ‘queen of pop’, Madonna, as a surprise guest. In an atmosphere of celebration and surrounded by applause, the public welcomed the music star in a segment that was immortalized on social networks through photographs and videos.
Platforms such as Instagram and TikTok were filled with unpublished images of the exact moment in which the multi-award-winning artist joined her colleague while she performed the song “Juno.”
Minutes later, Sabrina Carpenter and Madonna joined their voices to perform “Vogue,” a single released in the 90s. Likewise, They sang the song “If truth be told feel Free” live for the first time, a collaboration that will be part of “Confessions II”, the pop legend’s next album.
Next, both stars danced to the rhythm of “Fancy a Prayer”, another of the most emblematic titles in Madonna’s catalogue. For this presentation, there was a choir on stage that was acclaimed by the audience.
Prior to her farewell from the stage, Madonna shared a few words with the audience in which, in addition to saying she was excited, she described her collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter as great. The reason? This marked his return to the competition after two decades.
“20 years ago today, I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent and it was the first time I performed ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ part one in the United States”he was heard saying from the stage at the Coachella Festival.
“It was a huge emotion, and it’s a thrill to be back. It’s a full circle moment. It’s very meaningful to me.”he added.
There was no shortage of jokes and laughter during the evening, revealing the great friendship that exists between the stars. “The other exciting thing I have to point out right now is that this is probably the first time I’ve performed with someone who is shorter than me,” Madonna said. Carpenter responded with an accomplice: “Amen!”
