The rapper Ice Spice, Known for having participated in the song “Karma” by Taylor Swift, She was attacked by a woman at a McDonald’s in the city of Los Angeles.
In a video obtained by TMZ, a person is shown approaching the table where the artist, whose real name is Isis Gaston, 26, was sitting with a companion.
According to the audiovisual cloth, The woman tries to sit at the table and the Grammy-nominated rapper appears to tell her to leave. The stranger stops for a moment, but then reaches out and hits Ice Spice, who does not hesitate to defend himself. In the middle of the struggle, an employee of the establishment separates the alleged aggressor, while the interpreter walks over tables and booths.s. Finally, the woman is expelled from the place.
A second video, recorded outside, shows Ice Spice destroying a phone that, according to the aforementioned media, belonged to someone who accompanied the aggressor. As they cross the street, the two confront each other again.
Rapper’s lawyer talks about “unprovoked attack”
Ice Spice’s lawyerBradford Cohen, declared that the artist was the victim of an attack and that legal measures are already being taken.
“The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department and We will explore all possible legal avenues to hold those responsible accountable for their actions, both criminally and civilly,” Cohen said.
In addition, he announced that they are evaluating “the possibility of holding the establishment responsible for its lack of adequate security measures.”
According to TMZ, The woman who appears in the video claimed that she slapped Ice Spice because he was rude to her and called her a “bitch.” So far, the artist’s representatives and the Los Angeles Police Department have not confirmed whether a formal complaint has already been filed.
