Concachampions 2026: this is how the semifinals of the Concacaf tournament turned out

The Concacaf Champions League is reaching its decisive stages. Now there are four teams that will compete for the Concachampions trophy. As expected, The trophy will be contested between two clubs from Liga MX and two clubs from Significant League Soccer.

The first defining day of the quarterfinals was favorable for the American teams. Los Angeles FC was the first club to qualify. The American team beat Cruz Azul 3-0 in the first leg. In the second leg they did not go beyond a 1-1 draw (world 1-4).

The second classified club was nashville. The American team drew 0-0 with the Águilas del América in the first leg. In the return and with the forecast against, Nashville achieved a 0-1 victory as a visitor and advanced to the next round.

On the second day of meetings the balance leaned on Liga MX. The UANL Tigres defeated the Seattle Sounders 2-0 in the first leg. But on the way back The Americans achieved a 3-1 victory that tied the world at 3-3. However, for having scored a goal as a visitor, Tigres advanced to the next round.

In the other series the Red Devils of Toluca showed their superiority. Antonio Mohamed’s team beat Los Angeles Galaxy 4-2 in the first leg. In the return the Mexican team beat the LA Galaxy 0-3 (world 2-7).

In the first semi-final match they will be Nashville and the UANL Tigers. The first leg will take place between April 28 and 30. The first duel will be played in the Geodis Park (Nashville). The second leg will be played in the window from May 5 to 7. The Universitario Stadium (Monterrey) will be the venue for the defining duel.

On the other side of the key are Los Angeles FC and the Red Devils of Toluca. On the same dates stipulated in the previous duels, The first leg will be played at BMO Stadium (Los Angeles); the return will be in Nemesio Diez Stadium (Toluca).

The final is scheduled for May 30, 2026. The match will be played in the stadium of the club that has a better accumulated rating from the round of 16 to the semifinals. Currently, The club that has the lead is Toluca.
