A 17-year-old girl accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend in Pennsylvania had videos on Instagram of her threatening him with a knife, police said.

According to a press release from the Harrisburg Police Department, Dalaysia Terrell-Brown17, was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon to commit a crime. She was also accused of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the file consulted by Folks.

The charges are related to the investigation into the homicide of Tamar Shaw18, Terrell-Brown’s boyfriend, which began on Monday, April 6, at 1400 Market Street.

While the case remains under investigation, the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office ruled Shaw’s death a homicide, according to a probable cause affidavit.

“The stab wound penetrated the chest cavity, requiring mighty force,” the coroner stated, according to the affidavit.

A complaint to the police led to Previous posts allegedly made by Terrell-Brown on Instagramin which she pointed and threw a knife at her boyfriend, according to the affidavit.

One of the videos allegedly showed a hand holding a knife, the same as the one recovered at the scene, attempting to stab Shaw. The video allegedly had the following caption: “Hahaha, cut his wrist.”

Another video allegedly showed Terrell-Brown pointing a knife at Shaw while verbally addressing other women.

According to the affidavit, in the video, Brown made threatening comments and said things like “Shaw’s not going to do anything” and “let this be a warning.”

A third video, according to the affidavit, showed Terrell-Brown throwing a serrated knife — which also appeared to match the one recovered at the scene — at Shaw’s neck.

On April 6, police officers were sent to an apartment after receiving a call about a man who was losing blood and had a cut on his shoulder.

Upon arriving at the scene, police reported observing a puncture wound, a laceration or puncture, on the left side of Shaw’s chest.

Unable to explain what happened, as he could not breathe, Shaw collapsed to the ground. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Penn Dwell.

Terrell-Brown claimed they were both in bed when he asked her for a knife to cut paper and roll a joint. She claimed not to have witnessed the moment Shaw was injured and reportedly stated that while they had argued earlier that day, they were not arguing when the incident occurred.

According to the affidavit, she said she went to move the blankets covering Shaw, and he screamed in pain. He didn’t know what was wrong with him, so they took off his shirt and blood began to flow from the wound. T

Erell-Brown is being held in the Dauphin County Jail and was denied bail, according to the record. He is awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 20.
