The singer Jorge D’Alessio and Marichelo Puente have ended their relationship after more than a decade in marriage, as confirmed by the member of Matute. According to the famous man’s statements, his priority and that of his still wife is the well-being of their common children, which is why they asked for respect and privacy in this transition period.
In an interview given to the cameras of the “Hoy” program, Lupita D’Alessio’s son opened up about the ups and downs he has experienced since they chose to go their separate ways.
“It’s a difficult time for both of us. We are separated right now and we are trying to do everything from love, family love, with our children in mind. “You don’t know what the future holds, but we want to do it as prudently as possible,” said the singer.
Likewise, he revealed that, for the well-being of his children, they will keep each step in their process behind closed doors. “It is important to keep it as airtight as possible and the absolute reason is our children. If even though this is the most private thing, so many things have been said, absurd things come out, because it is complicated,” he added.
When asked about the reason behind his divorce, Jorge D’Alessio was forceful in defending his privacy: “Only we know (…) We will remain partners for life and we agreed not to say more. There will come a time when the mother of my children will speak to some media and I will do so later, but I assure you that it will be in this tone,” he assured.
For the famous man, it is important to remain a present father figure, just as he has done since day one. For this reason, he will maintain constant communication with Marichelo, ensuring that they will never lack anything: “It’s just giving time time, letting hearts heal, letting things settle in. A separation is always a difficult process.”
In this sense, Jorge D’Alessio praised the mother of his children, describing her as a woman of integrity and values.
“I have been very clear: my wife, the mother of my children, is an impeccable woman, in one piece, with outstanding values, and I thank God that she is the mother of my children because I know that they will grow up with brutal values thanks to her.“, he concluded.
