Latin music is preparing for one of its most significant nights. Telemundo and Billboard confirmed that Puerto Ricans Ivy Queen and Younger Miko will be honored at the gala Billboard Latina Women in Music 2026.
The event, which seeks to recognize artists who have proactively worked to create positive change, inclusion and gender parity, will air next April 23.
Ivy Queenan undisputed pioneer of the urban genre, will receive the Pionera award, a recognition that reaffirms her status as the “Queen of Reggaetón.” After decades of career breaking barriers in an environment historically dominated by men, Ivy continues to be a benchmark of authenticity and resistance.
For its part, Younger Miko will be recognized with the Unstoppable Artist award. With a meteoric rise that has seen her collaborate with the biggest names in the industry and conquer global charts, Miko symbolizes creative freedom and the cutting edge.
The April 23 ceremony will not only highlight these two Puerto Rican artists. They will join other recent announcements, such as recognitions for Becky G (Impact World Award), Pleasure Garden (Spirit of Change) and Julieta Venegas (Artistic Excellence).
With this group of honorees, Billboard Latina Women in Music consolidates itself as the main stage to celebrate the diversity, talent and strength of Latin women around the world.
