Spotify prepares film of Rotten Bunny’s point to in Tokyo

The music of Rotten Bunny Keep breaking barriers. Spotify announced the global launch of Billions Membership Live with Rotten Bunny: A Live performance Moviea film production that documents the Puerto Rican singer’s first point to on the Asian continent.

The premiere is scheduled for this April 8 on the platformallowing millions of fans to relive a night that, until now, only a privileged few had witnessed.

The long-established event took place in the Tipstar Dome Chibain Tokyo, before an exclusive audience of just over 2,300 people. The concert was part of the series Billions Membership Livea Spotify initiative to honor artists who have surpassed one billion streams.

During the 90 minutes of footage, viewers will be able to enjoy a repertoire that fuses Rotten Bunny’s global hits with classics from his career. Among the most notable topics is the interpretation of “Yonaguni”in which the Japanese audience chanted in Spanish and Japanese, and an unreleased salsa version of the song “MINE”.

In addition, the film captures the surprise appearance of the duo Jowell & Randy to perform the reggaeton classic “Safaera”.

The production not only focuses on the music, but also on the emotional connection between Puerto Rico and Japan with a set decorated with cherry trees and Puerto Rican flags. “This point to is proof that music has no language,” said the artist during the presentation.

The event was attended by figures of the stature of Lisa from BLACKPINKartist Takashi Murakami and content creator Luisito Comunica.
