The followers who were waiting to see Thalia starring in a new television drama received bad news. In a recent interview that shook the entertainment world, the Mexican singer and actress put an end to rumors about her return to the genre that established her as the “Queen of Soap Operas.”

Although his name is constantly being heard to lead new productions on Televisa, Thalía confessed that the pace of work behind hits like “María la del Barrio” or “Marimar” left deep consequences.

“What destroyed my mind, emotionally speaking, was the way in which those novels were filmed,” he revealed. the artist in an interview with Hola! magazine, referring to the exhausting days of recording against the clock.

The interpreter of “Amor a la Mexicana” recalled that, during the height of the “Las Marías” trilogy, the pressure to maintain high audience levels It forced the production to record scenes that were edited and broadcast that same night.

“There was no way that you would get a migraine, that you would have a panic attack… there was no way at all. You had to continue,” she explained about the level of demand that finally kept her away from the recording units.

27 years after “Rosalinda” (1999), her last television project, Thalía assures that her mental health is her priority. Although she appreciates the public’s affection and the success that her stories maintain on streaming platforms, the actress ruled out undergoing a routine again that she described as “incapacitating.”
