Senator John Kennedy lit up social networks by sharing a surreal video

John Kennedy, senator from Louisiana, shared a surreal video on social media in which he presents an elliptical bicycle with which he usually exercises.

At 74 years old, the Republican appeared in front of his mobile phone camera to address his 1.7 million followers on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter.

Far from issuing any comments related to American politics, the lawyer originally from Centreville, Mississippi, this time He took a minute of his time to describe how he tries to stay in perfect health through exercise.

The sui generis of his presentation is that he wears a red scarf wrapped around his forehead and that gives him a certain touch of joviality.

However, what is really surreal is the description he offers of an elliptical bicycle to which he even gave a name as if it were a person.

“Hey

Kennedy mentions that he keeps “Margaret” out of his house because the machine is too heavy to move, his wife doesn’t allow it, and also because he enjoys exercising during the summer.

“As you can see, Margaret, my elliptical trainer, is out here under my garage in Louisiana. After Margaret beats me up, I look for air conditioning. My job here is done and I can leave,” he ends by saying.

Although the Republican senator is never seen exercising, in a matter of hours his video achieved more than 712,000 views with the majority of the comments being directed towards him in a positive way.

In 1999, John Neely Kennedy served as Louisiana’s treasurer, a position he held for three consecutive terms.

Later, his desire to become a senator led him to run through the Democratic Party, losing in 2004.

This experience led him to become a Republican and, four years later, achieve his set goal.
