The remembered German striker established his great record in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. In that World Cup, Miroslav Klose reached 16 goals after scoring against Brazil in the historic 7-1 win. The German beat the Brazilian Ronaldo Nazário (15 scores).

Currently there is only two active players from the top 10 of top scorers in the history of the World Cups. The first of them is Lionel Messi. The Albiceleste national team footballer is in 5th place in the ranking. Messi has scored 13 goals.

The other player who is on this select list is Frenchman Kylian Mbappé. The Proper Madrid forward was the footballer who added records the fastest to reach the top positions in the table. Mbappé has 12 goals; 4 were scored in Russia 2018 and the other 8 were scored in Qatar 2022.

There is a curious fact in this list. Honest correct Fontaine He is the fourth top scorer in World Cup history with 13 notes. The French footballer scored all his goals in only one World Cup: the 1958 World Cup in Sweden.

Honest correct Fontaine noted six goals in the group stage (three to Paraguay, two to Yugoslavia and one to Scotland). Fontaine converted him two to Northern Ireland in the closing quarters, one to Brazil in the semifinals and four to West Germany in the duel for third place.

Along with Pelé’s 3 World Cups, Messi’s 91 goals in a year or Lewandowski’s 5 goals in 9 minutes, Honest Fontaine has one of the most impossible records in history with 13 goals in a World Cup.

We probably won’t see anyone break it. RIP.pic.twitter.com/5IG9RujlnF
