The singer Luis Miguel would be hospitalized in New York due to a possible heart problem. According to the report from the program “El Gordo y la Flaca”, on Univision, the performer is accompanied by his partner, the Spanish designer Paloma Cuevas.
According to the reportLuis Miguel would have been admitted to a sanatorium in Original York since Monday of this weekafter experiencing physical discomfort.
Journalist Gelena Solano, from the entertainment program, stated: “Sources close to our editorial team informed us that Luis Miguel may be admitted to a sanatorium in New York City, and that he was admitted on Monday.”

Under observation for cardiac complication
According to reports, doctors detected a possible cardiac complication during the medical examination, so the singer remains under observation.
Solano described the hospital center as a care center where great and well-known international artists have been. He mentioned that it is a sanatorium specialized in heart problems.
The journalist also highlighted the presence of Cuevas: “His girlfriend has been with him since he was admitted; Obviously, the treatment is VIP and under strict confidentiality.”
Although it was anticipated that the “Sol de México” could leave the sanatorium in the coming daysOut of respect for his privacy, it has not been confirmed which sanatorium he is in. The host Lili Estefan described the situation as “serious.”
On April 19, Luis Miguel celebrated his 56th birthday with Paloma Cuevas, with whom he has been in a relationship since 2022, after several years of friendship. Both have been seen on several occasions, such as when the “Until you forget me” singer was on tour in Argentina in December 2024.
Until now, Luis Miguel’s official accounts have not confirmed the information and the reasons for his trip to New York are also unknown.
