Mexican actress Eiza González spoke bluntly about her relationship with Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov. In a recent appearance on Owen Thiele’s “In Your Dreams” podcast, the 36-year-old star, known for her roles in the series “Lola, Once Upon a Time” and “Within the Grey,” He revealed the funny differences he has with his partner, 34, when it comes to organizing his luggage.
According to Eiza, Dimitrov is a real “cleanliness freak”an obsession that radically contrasts with his more relaxed and carefree style.
“My boyfriend is a clean freak. I’ve never seen anything like it. In fact, I once took a photo of our suitcases. He steam irons all his clothes, even his socks and underwear. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
The actress recounted how one day, upon seeing Dimitrov meticulously folding each garment while sitting on the floor, could not avoid the comparison with the famous tidying guru Marie Kondo.
The Mexican took the opportunity to narrate a comical moment and that was when the tennis player saw the state of his girlfriend’s bag and almost “had a heart attack,” said the actress.
Afterwards, she praised her boyfriend’s order: “And G’s suitcase is… I’ve never seen such a technique for folding it. So I always like to photograph his things along with mine. I have a whole folder full of photos. It’s so funny because he’s such a Taurus and I’m such an Aquarius, but it works. It really works wonders.”
About their relationship
Although it is not known exactly when the romance between Eiza González and Grigor Dimitrov began, the couple made their relationship official in April 2025. Since then, they have made no secret of their mutual admiration.
The most public moment of their love story came during the Wimbledon tournament that same summer, when the tennis player had to withdraw due to an injury. Far from remaining silent, Eiza dedicated a emotional message to Dimitrov on his social networks, calling him “the love of his life.”
