Ghislaine Maxwellconvicted of sex trafficking of minors, is once again at the center of controversy after a former employee of a federal prison in Texas revealed alleged special privileges that she would have received within the penitentiary center.

The accusations were spread during an interview on CNN, where Noella Turnagea former worker at the federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, said that Maxwell had unusual benefits even for inmates considered high profile.

According to Turnage, Maxwell enjoyed better accommodation conditionsspecial attention to the inside of most and preferential access to services within the prison.

“The food is much better, the place is clean, the inside of most is attentive and friendly,” Maxwell wrote in an email to his brother and revealed by CNN.

In the message, Maxwell even compared his new life in prison to “cross the mirror of Alice in Wonderland.”

Private tours and exclusive benefits

According to the former official, the preferential treatment went beyond living conditions.

Turnage stated that the prison authorities suspended visits from other inmates to allow that Maxwell would receive private meetings with family or close people.

“The other inmates were not able to see their families that weekend so Maxwell could receive visitors,” she denounced.

The former employee also pointed out that the warden personally handled some of Maxwell’s mailsomething he described as unusual within the federal prison system.

“Other inmates have a hard time even submitting basic court documents,” she said.

Furthermore, an inmate who spoke with the aforementioned media stated that Maxwell received bottled water and food prepared especially for her.delivered directly to your room.

Transfer generates new suspicions

The revelations emerge after the controversial Maxwell’s transfer to a minimum security prisonwhich occurred days after testifying about the relationship between Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump.

During questioning by Todd Blanche, then deputy attorney general, Maxwell asserted that Trump never witnessed sexual misconduct by Epsteindespite the public friendship that both maintained for years.

The change of prison generated questions on social networks and among critics of the American judicial system, who consider that Maxwell continues to receive privileged treatment despite the seriousness of his crimes.

Turnage assured that he decided to filter the emails because considered unfair the level of benefits granted to Maxwell compared to other women deprived of liberty.

The former official was fired after the leak of the messages.
