Your Years in Party Mode is a historical Wrapped that reviews your entire musical life within the app, from the day you created your account until today, and arrives to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the platform.
What is Your Years in Party Mode and what does it show you?
Unlike the annual Wrapped that appears every November, this new experience covers all your accumulated history since you first signed up for Spotify. What we see here is a personalized time capsule that goes far beyond what any previous edition had offered.
The experience presents you, in Instagram-style story format, data such as:
- The exact date you created your account
- The entire of minutes listened until 2026
- The first song what you played in the app
- You most listened to artist of all time
Furthermore, when finished it generates a personalized playlist with 120 songs that have marked your entire history, with the number of times each one was played. The key here is that it’s not just cold statistics — it’s an emotional journey through years of music.
How to access Spotify’s Wrapped history on your cell phone
Access is easier than it seems. The feature is available to both users Top rate as free worldwide, and has been active since May 12, 2026.
You have three ways to enter:
- Open the Spotify app — the banner “The Party of the Year” It should appear directly in your home
- Seeks “Spotify 20” either “Your years in party mode” in the app’s internal search engine
- Enter from your mobile browser to spotify.com/20 and you will be redirected to the app
An important caveat — this experience is mobile app exclusive. If you log in from your desktop, you’ll see Wrapped directly in the browser without the full interactive experience. Make sure you have the app updated so that everything works without problems.
Why this release matters beyond nostalgia
Spotify didn’t release this on a whim. The platform complies 20 years in 2026 and we are facing a very well calculated strategic move: instead of waiting for Wrapped at the end of the year, the company generates massive conversation on networks in the middle of May, a month that has historically been dead in terms of engagement.
What this means is that Spotify fully understands the power of custom shareable content. Every user who posts their first song or landmark artist is doing organic marketing on the platform — at no cost.
